I've only played one solo from this book. The pcs are too showy for church (my opinion) and I was mortified to discover my pianist had 14 pages of music to deal with!

low advanced level. I've played a long time and have a lot of books I've accumulated over the years. Just a few of them are suitable. Three things I look for: 1) a compatible skill level, 2) some variety in the harmonies and arrangements, and 3) LENGTH OF THE SONG is a major factor for me. For an Offertory, for example, a 3-minute song is too short.The arrangements and harmonies are just exquisite. There are 3-4 that are long enough for my offering, and the partly contemporary styling is so wonderful. I have to work on these, but again at my age, that's not a bad thing! I have both I and II books. I love them, my music/worship director loves them, and our congregation can't find enough words to express their appreciation.

I can’t say enough great things about this book! It is so hard to find music that you can play at church that is a bit on the more contemporary side. I love this book and book too! It is been such an encouragement and a blessing for me...
