I Have been playing trumpet for a long time and it was not easy.But it provides a challenge and i love it!

I have been playing trumpet for close to five years now and this piece has presented me with a new challenge. It is nothing easy but has optional parts that could make it slightly easier. The only thing I didn't like was it wasn't the same arrangement Wynton...

Marsalis plays, which is why I wanted this piece in the first place, but it is close.

i got this piece with high hopes that i could successfully learn and be able to perform it. i was sorely dissapointed after 2 weeks of practicing just this piece. i love the way the piece sounds, but for me, my fingers cannot move as fast as i want them...

to, and it made the music sound mushy. i've been playing trumpet for 5 years now, and i would advise that you are sure of your skill. you will have to have very fast fingers, and be able to play straight for at least 2 minutes without having to remove the mouthpiece from your face.

The sheet music has great potential, but the solo can be more exciting. A trumpet solo of the song is just not very exciting... one has to make it exciting. It's a very good song though, and easy to get used to but very difficult to play clearly (at...

least for me).
