I ordered this for one of my beginner flute students to give her some solos to work on. These solos give you the experience of studying solo/duet material while remaining in a beginner friendly zone. They do get progressively more difficult, which is perfect, but they are very accessible...

for new flutists. I enjoy teaching her, and the few duets in the book provide a good opportunity for us to play together just to enjoy the music. They obviously offer teaching moments on tuning and ensemble, too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a book of solos that is easy to begin with. This is a stepping stone to more difficult solos in the future. I wish it was a little more sturdy, but it is rather inexpensive. I won't complain too much!
