I have shortened it for the use of younger string players and added very easy parts (optional) but the sentiment is authentic. It features a hurdygurdy, a cat and dog, a hen and cock, a fencing match, various pipes and flutes (with the first use of the the instruction "sul ponticello"), a guitar, some dances and a very beautifully weird illustration of a trembling organ using "bow vibrato"!
