This piece has some folkloric elements of the Plena (a music genre developed in the town of Ponce, Puerto Rico). Instead of a cadenza, the piece has some bars to play improvisations as it happens in folklore.
This edition also includes a Piano part as a substitute for the Harp, just in case the harpist is not available or the music is too difficult.
