    John Williams' music in "Empire of the Sun", specifically "Exsultate Justi", made me as a teenager aware of the importance of music as part of the cinematic experience. I was excited to order this arrangement but was a bit disappointed that some parts are not included. I wonder if the...

    phrase "rectos decet collaudatio" written as "rectos decet ladatio" is a typographical error. As a whole, however, the arrangement is a very effective concert piece specially if done with the optional instruments. I included this piece in a concert along with Ennio Morricone's "River" from the movie, "The Mission".

  • May 18, 2007 Good but Incomplete

    This choral work is fantastic. And when is signed "music by John Williams" it is always like a trademark quality. Pity that this version cut of the best and most difficult part. In the end is good.
