My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music, but most importantly, that it actually makes "pianistic" sense. Sometimes I even hide exercises in the arrangements that I want a student to work on. All of my arrangements are usually made for a specific student, so the results will always vary.This arrangement was made for a mid to late beginner, Primary III, who just finished Alfred's Premier Level 2 and starting Alfred's Masterwork Classics. The fingering can be a little tricky, but songs like this tend to motivate a student! Mostly fifths in the left hand until it opens up to broken octaves. Great piece for encouraging expression and moodiness.Pedal and fingering suggestions are included.
