Inexpensive, OK for starting with these works

This appears to be the Longo edition with all of Longo's fingering and expressive marks removed. But there are differences which show that this editor did take care to produce an honest Urtext that is easy to read. There is no editorial commentary. The page turns are not optimal. With few editions of the complete Essercizi available, I would prefer the Kenneth Gilbert Le pupitre Scarlatti Sonatas Vol 1 (Heugel) to this. The Fadini edition is supposed to have the Essercizi in Volume 10, but that volume has not been published yet.

    Disappointing

It was a great disappointment to buy this. There are no K or L numbers given, making identification impossible. It is called Performer's Edition. Why this should be a performance edition is difficult to see. Absolutly no notes, no fingering, no suggestions for phrasing, nothing. It is given to be edited by Valenti. What the editting consisted of is impossible to recognize. I cannot give zero stars, therfore the one star
