Published by Cesar Alejandro Carrillo (S0.255689).It was written in 1996, with the style of a Venezuelanmadrigal, based on two poems byFernando Paz Castillo, one of our greatest Venezuelan poets. After havingselected several of his poems, I finally chose two, Encuentro (Encounter), (1937), and En la Luz de Tus Ojos (In the light of your eyes), (1966). Thoughthey were written in years so distant in time, I felt the essence of both poemswas the same, which is the reason why I thought it was a good idea to mergethem into one sole musical work. .
