Easy Solos For Saxophone

Not being very familiar with the music of Kenny G I ordered this book because I liked the song "Songbird" very much. What I was hoping for were transcriptions of Kennys songs for saxophone in the usual precise way that I know from Hal Leonard. What I got were mediocre...

arrangements for the songs that are not very sophisticated, I guess I should have noticed that the 16 pages this book offers are far to little to contain precise transcriptions of all the songs. If you are a beginner with a bit of experience but not quite enough to play Kennys songs the way he does, this might be the book for you. In any other case it is not worth the buy and very disappointing.

Songs are very easy to play with my sax, I recommand it.

This book is definitely not for the beginner..... but for someone with a bit of musical knowledge. The rhythms are a bit more complex, but very beautiful. A great collection of songs- especially if you love Kenny G.

I found the material very easy to follow. I am a beginner with the saxaphone, trying teach myself, which is difficult. This book allowed me to explore low and high octives.

ok this is a great book and i think everybody who is still learning should try this. its pretty easy i mean..how much easier do you want it to get?
