Most arrangements were right on. Great enjoyment playing the oldies.

I originally checked this out of the library, but after a few weeks of browsing it I decided I have to own it. It has a great selection of all the top rock and roll of that era. (Baby boomers - you'll love it!) The arrangements are very good, and...

are true to the original music. Basically just a lot of fun to play, and what's great is that the lyrics are all there, although the pieces, generally, will stand on their own as a piano solo. One thing to mention, the piano on most (not all) carries the melody line, so it is not really designed for accompaniment, but we've been having a great time with people singing along. I should think the difficulty level would be intermediate. They're definitely not so simplified as to make them boring to play for an advanced musician. I am an advanced classical pianist, and I love it! Great book!
