The arrangements are excellent, bass lines are not demanding. The only reason why i didnt give it 5 stars is because it would have been nice to have a separate track of the songs withouth the bass line.

The music, of course, is elegant. You could buy this, pitch the book and simply listen to the CD and have done well.The recording requires that you read standard notation-no tabs here. This is well-recorded although it didn't allow the complete separation of the bass line...

from the rest of the orchestra that I'd hoped for. The bass lines are not demanding; I've only been playing two years and found them accessible. The songs were helpful to me in that they forced me to play in horn keys-3 and 4 flats. Coming from a guitar background, I was far more familiar with the C-A-G-E-D keys. Don't let this one get away.

Has nice bold easy to read score. Not all the chords are shown but alot of them are. Music shows bass clef with bass notes with key signature only, so you need to be able to read music and the bass clef notes to take advantage of this book. The...

CD that comes with it is great to play along with. I'm enjoying it very much.
