Michele Cinquina studied classical guitar with the masters Marco Salcito and Andrea Dieci, graduating with the latter at the Luisa D'Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara. He graduated with honors at the University of Macerata under the guidance of prof. V. Caporaletti.
