Decatonica: 12 pieces for solo piano by Douglas DaSilva.  Duration: ca. 18 minutes.

These 12 short pieces can be thought of as aural studies for the listener.  Each piece explores one basic harmonic idea within one tightly defined group of notes, what I call the decatonic scale.  Of course, the primary "listener" is the performer.  So, hopefully, in the end the musician will also have a better understanding of what I've set out to do in this series of pieces.
