String Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.766973

Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Bob Delfausse. 20th Century,Concert. Score and parts. 21 pages. Robert Delfausse #3100105. Published by Robert Delfausse (A0.766973).

Starting with Debussy's composition for solo piano, this arrangement is for string orchestra (violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, double bass) with piano accompaniment.  Please listen to the full-length audio, included here, to hear if the arrangement captures the magic of Debussy's composition.  Though the arrangement follows the original composition measure for measure, there is new musical material (counterlines, etc.) where the sparse texture needed to be filled out.  Advanced intermediate groups will enjoy the arrangement, I'm sure, as I've performed it with my own community orchestra.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
