The reason I gave it 4 stars is because,yes it is an advance concerto but there are way harder stuff like Saint-saens,Mendelsshon,and Sibelius.

This is one of the more popular violin concertos, and pretty much a must for anyone whose serious about music. The third movement is by far the hardest of the three, and the most worthwhile. The whole piece, however, is full of awesome melodies.

Francescatti gets beyond the endless tremolo in the left hand unless absolutely necessary. This piece plays as if written for the piano; very comfortable for the most part. The violin parts are incredibly beautiful and not too tiring, as the piece is not really long. Excellent choice of a concerto...

This is an amazing concerto. The first movement begins with a drumroll and winds until the the violinist enters with a cadenza. The movement encounters few difficulty with the exception of various g flats in the upper range. The second movement is a marvelous melodious and romantic movement which is...

followed by a glorious finale full of thrirds, sixths, octaves,anf tenths. It also includes a highle remarkable melody and ends with a fiery ending. The piano part seems strange but overall an excellent edition with excellent fingerings.
