The first time I heard a recording on NPR, I knew this piece was different. I am a lover of all music, but it's not often that I find that one piece that really permeates my life for a while. In terms of its formal design, it is classical...

through and through. It's so straightforward that it makes the perfect example for any music class studying concerto form, sonata form, ABA form, or rondo form. This piece is a pure delight.
