  • March 24, 2009 brilliant!

I amd a 14 year old with 9 years of experience of violin. This song is so well put together I just had to get it even though I have to play the notes a little different. This is one of the best compositions i have listened to and played...

    . MUST HAVE!

  • November 13, 2008 Great piece, good enough edition

International editions are not always the best option, but in spite of this I still recommend this edition. While I can't speak for the cello part, the orchestral reduction is not terrible. There are quite a few things I changed when I performed with my cellist, though. This is...

probably the version that is most used by pianists as well. Unfortunately no indication is given in the score at all what instruments play what in the orchestra and this, along with some unusual reduction spots are the edition's biggest drawbacks. The concerto is beautiful and is a classic. This edition almost does it justice!

  • May 12, 2008 ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTOS EVER

This work is very difficult and requires very much technical skill. It is not for beginners. It is fairly long and so worth the time. It is a MUST HAVE
