Composed by David Lucas Frith. Contemporary. Individual part. 29 pages. David Frith #4315. Published by David Frith (A0.904117).

Concerto for Two consist of four movements: I. Excellence, II. Dedication, III. Funny, IV. Friend. It is, if not the first, one of the few concertos for alto saxophone and bassoon. It is dedicated to Brandon Harding, a great musician and friend. It is approximately 16 minutes long. Musically, both extreme ranges of the instrument will be exposed, and the bassoon even plays in the treble clef at times. The piece also contains very lyrical moments as well as very technically demanding passages passed between the two voices. Concerto for Two is a demanding piece but also rewarding at the same time.
