I like this version because it seems to be the only one that matches the professional artists' recordings. Also, some very helpful (and interesting) performance notes are included. The only trouble I found is some misprints, but it's nothing that a musician can't pick out and correct quickly...

    . Overall, GREAT version!

This is off topic, to be sure. I play an arrangement by George Waln. Whose arrangements do Emma Johnson and Martin Frost use on their recordings? I want those, but I don't know what to order.

WEBER WROTE EXCELLENT MUSIC FOR THE CLARINET. IN MY OPINION HIS SECOND CONCERTO IS THE BEST, THOUGH IT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT. CONCERTINO IS A GOOD PIECE OF MUSIC TO MASTER ON THE PATH THROUGH WEBER'S FIRST AND THEN HIS SECOND.

  • November 12, 2008 Concertino-Hard but good piece to show progress.

The Concertion is a beautiful clarinet piece. It is tricky and the rythems and dynamics are very important but if you can master it then it's a great piece to perform and show how far you have come.

This version had a few misprints but was otherwise a very interesting piece to play. It has many challenges. I quite enjoyed playing it.
