For some pianists, playing jazz does not come easily. We can slam out Rachmaninoff, but then trying to swing out the beats with the sometimes difficult rhythms of jazz does not come easily. I am one of those pianists. I am not familiar with many of these songs, so this...

music took some effort. I still don't feel like I am playing some of them as "catchy" as a jazz pianists, but of what I have played, I have enjoyed. It is not all easy to sight read no matter your level of play. . .

Like these arrangements very much. Challenging but not enough to frustrate. Some songs very familiar, others are unknown to me

There are several familiar selections in this collection, which are relatively simple to play for jazz arrangements. In fact, the quibble that I have is that they lack a certain sophistication in chord substitutions and voicing; maybe they are too simple.
