My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music, and most importantly, that it actually makes "pianistic" sense. Sometimes I may hide exercises in the arrangements that I want a student to work on. All of my arrangements are usually made for a specific student, so results will vary.Fingering is included to guide you along. The song as a whole has been condensed to the main parts. As a general rule, I often shorten vocal melodies and remove excessive syllable notes (lyrics). Solo performances will sound much nicer this way. I also condense melodies for simpler timings.This arrangement was made for a student who had just completed Alfred's Later Beginner Level 1. I was concerned it might be too difficult, but he flew through this arrangement. He was very motivated! Since then, I have lost count of how many other students have performed this exact version. It might seem a little daunting at first, but once a student discovers the patterns, it gets very easy. Expect problem areas at the bridge, but well worth the time!
