This arrangement always seems to go down very well with young string groups -
I imagine it has something to do with the consistency and the flowing
nature of physically playing throught the chart.
I found beginner violins/violas who could tackle sharp 3rd fingers were able
to motor about ok. This arrangement started life as one of my first writings
for a Beginner - Intermediate ensemble
The most ensemble work for young players seems to be the Bridge sections - D et al.
- which seems to be missing from a lot of other arrangements I have seen.
I don't why one would leave this section out - it's the most fun part.
The design of this chart with cuts [VI -- DE] enables a lower intermediate group
as well as an ensemble with advanced players
This arrangement is possible without Basses or Violas if there are 3rd Violins.
I have used this full arrangement in professional Corporate settings.
