Also known as the third movement FINALE, the work was later revised in 2011. Like many of my compositions, it was not intentionally written to a specific form.
My first symphony as a whole was loosely based on my dissatisfaction with the modern world's obsession with consumerism and the distractions of technology. A difficult idea to depict through music, the third movement was about breaking free from the norm and finding clarity through the simple joys in life.
