The upper part (Flute 1) has more technical gymnastics (and generally uses more third register notes, but only up to an A) and is aimed at grade 4 to 6 players. The styles range from traditional arrangements (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, The First Noel, and Carol Of The Bells), through to more original adaptations; I Saw Three Ships (in 7/8), The Wassail Swing, and See Amid The Winter's Snow, and O Come O Come Emmanuel.
