This collection of 14 intermediate piano solos features distinct and creative arrangements of favorite Christmas carols from countries all around the world. Some of these songs are familiar and well-known carols while others are less familiar, but equally beautiful and memorable.   From flowing and reflective to upbeat and joyous, the intermediate pianist will find these songs a valuable addition to their holiday repertoire.
 
All the songs focus on the birth of Jesus and would be appropriate for a church worship service. For each song, a page is included showing an English translation of the lyrics. Since there is no official English translation for most of these songs, they have been loosely translated by Sharon Wilson to give an idea of the song's theme, adjusting phrasing so the lyrics fit the melody.

Each of the 14 arrangements is also available separately with accompanying preview pages and audio samples. The audio sample plays "Carol of the Birds."
