- "Night Lights" (3/4, G minor/G major, including F#) is for relatively new players with a more challenging second part meant to be played by the teacher.
- "Swing Sets" (3/4, Eb Major) is accessible to intermediate (i.e. upper middle school) players.
- "Bike Riding" (4/4, G Major) has more rhythmic interest and challenging accidentals. Appropriate for advancing intermediate players.
- "Afternoon Tea" (2/4, A Major) is very accessible except for the sharps! A good brain stretch for the junior high player, to learn that sharps are not actually harder than flats.
- "Superheroes" (6/8, G Major). Finger work and hemiolas in a range from low G to high A, for the intermediate high school player.
- "Roller Coasters" (shifting time signatures, F Major-Bb Major). Rhythmic and metric interest and significant technical passages make this good for high school students hoping to develop their technical facility.
