Having been a fan of Chet Atkins for well over 40 years and having played the guitar for even longer I thought it was about time I found out exactly how the master himself went about it. Some of his tricks of the trade are so simple it is unbelievable...

... an excellent book and one that I can most certainly recommend to anyone who just like me wondered how he did it. Sad he is no longer with us.

Very inspirational. The man, AND the music. This book (Vol II) along with Volume I, have inspired me to to broaden my skills toward becoming proficient in this style of music. So much so, that I went and bought thumbpicks, put my solid body guitar up for sale, and am...

now about to buy a Gretsch, and a good electric-classical.

This is for hardcore Chet fans. Some nice storys about Chet mixed with some accurately tabbed (as far as i can tell) Chet tunes.
