Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Federico Bonacossa. Baroque. Individual part. 17 pages. Cyklos #423169. Published by Cyklos (A0.915857).

Guitar transcriptions of the cello suites have historically been arrangements rather than transcriptions. A great deal of notes, particularly bass notes, are typically added to the original in order to make the piece more guitaristic. This new transcription does the opposite, and adds very little to the original. The result is a transcription that while still challenging is far more accessible technically than traditional transcriptions without compromising any of the beauty. Meticulous fingerings are included for both the left and the right hand.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
