This collection ranges from beginner book through late intermediate book. Over the years I have attended several of Bob's workshops. He is a great arranger BUT ... the problem I have with this collection is, in my humble opinion, attempting to be unique, he reaches too far on the traditional...

songs and ends up with some awful harmonies. The popular songs are mostly ok to great! Copyright laws will not allow me to write in a change, but students number measures and once they find a chord or notes they want to change, they write in their notebooks the changes they want to play for their memory reference. The plus side is the creation of "arranging" teaching moment.
