SKU: A0.743426

Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Josef STASTNY. Classical,Graduation,Holiday,Instructional,Standards. Score and parts. 14 pages. Josef STASTNY #3501645. Published by Josef STASTNY (A0.743426).

The work was written sometime between 1785 and 1787. On 2 September 1788, Mozart entered it into his personal catalog of works as part of a set of ten canons. Although some of the canons in the set of ten have serious (that is, religious) lyrics, was meant for fun, a gesture of mocking, scatological humor directed at a friend of Mozart's, the baritone Johann Nepomuk Peyerl (1761–1800). (Wikipedia)
This canon could be used like effective and impressive opening of the concert.

Because of substitute parts it is suitable for school brass choir.

Substitute parts: 1 C tenor clef, 1 Bb, 1 F, 1 Eb
        2 C tenor clef, 2 Bb, 2 F, 2 Eb
         3 Bb
