Unlike other scores of mine which tend to be nostalgic and occasionally express dramatic situations, Burlesca Iberica is an extrovert and lively episode. It is an ironic and refreshing catharsis which uses persistent fast rhythms and repetitive formulas to create a carefree, cheerful atmosphere. Burlesa Iberica is dedicated to Vladimir Spivakov and the Moscow Virtuosi. --Jordi Cervello

Al contrario de otras partituras mias en las que predomina el clima nostalgico y, en ocasiones la voluntad de expresar situaciones dramaticas, Burlesca Iberica es una pagina de caracter extravertido y vivaz. Se trata de un desahogo ironico y refrescante que a traves de ritmos insistentemente rapidos y formulas repetitivas, crea una atmosfera de despreocupacion y alegria. Burlesca Iberica esta dedicada a Vladimir Spivakov y los "Vituosos de Moscu". --Jordi Cervello.
