Bucca is a one minute dramatic piece, briefly describing life underground for a Cornish tin miner. This piece was written specifically for the 15-Minutes-of-Fame Series and was first performed in New York in 2013 by the soprano, Jenny Greene.

Text by Kate Aranda Nye  and incorporating some Cornish words. Performance notes included.

Young John Marrack, stenor by trade
Throws a crust for the Bucca, his life from his mo’sel paid.
Tewl, gleb, bros, own,
Poll pick swings, boryers grone
And the big wheel turns (around).
