CME In Low Voice. Composed by David L. Brunner. Choral Music Experience In Low Voice. Concert, Festival, Male Voices, Poetry. Octavo. 20 pages. Boosey & Hawkes #M051480067. Published by Boosey & Hawkes (HL.48021117).

Item Number: HL.48021117

6.75x10.5 inches.

Commissioned for the 2010 Southern Division ACDA Men's Honor Choir, David Brunner's broad and majestic music paired with James Broughton's powerful words, combine to make the perfect piece for men's chorus. In the text are found unusual juxtapositions of seeming opposites: “percussive silences,” “the intimate roar,” “the singing void,” and a strong bond of brotherhood: “thriving on affection” and “closer to me than my own children.” Let your ears ring with “the sound the stars make.” Duration: ca. 4:00.

I was part of the honor choir that this piece was written for and it was an amazing piece to do. With rich chords and amazing text painting it is a truly one of a kind piece. Very pulsing and stimulates the mind. Amazing song.
