Walz (A0.767642).Grandma says that her first recollection of ever singing in a children's choir was at the big Methodist church in town. She was about six, and they sang this carol, Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella. Most kids in the choir back then may remember the event. Years later it was always referred to as The Great Methodist Chicken Pox Outbreak since half the choir broke out with chicken pox the next week...including the choir director! In spite of the pox, this has always been a Grandma Favorite. My arrangement sounds like a music box in the beginning and the end, and I've added a few fingerings for two of the runs. Perfect for a Christmas prelude or offertory. This intermediate arrangement is set in 6/8 time with a couple of 3/8 measures here and there, key of C with no key changes, four pages, and 2:20 minutes performance time.
