    this book is extremly challenging. though ive only been playing a year. flea is an amazing bassist. i thought i could whip right through it but it's taking me a while. great buy but tough

    This is by far my favorite RHCP album and by far, my favorite set of Flea's basslines. I've dog-eared this book, i've used it so much. This book is: A) a very challenging set of basslines to play, B) a very fun set of basslines to...

    play and C) a very rewarding set of basslines to learn, in that they will probably make you a better bassplayer because Flea has a very unique and creative style of playing. Overall this is a very accurate album in that the only quasi-inaccurate part is a couple of the verses in Apache Peacock Rose having some fills omitted. Other than that it is very accurate. In short these are 17 of the coolest and funkiest songs for bass guitar out there. A steal.
