During his career Louis-Francois-Philippe Drouet was very brilliant and famous as flautist insomuch that ha usually was surnamed as the Paganini of the flute immediately he acknowledged the uniqueness of Beethoven music even when this was not completely accepted by his contemporaries. Drouet transcribed for flute the Beethovrn's main series for violin and piano Sonatas op 12 and Sonatas op 30 leaving untouched the piano part and working very little changes to the flute one this was done just to adapt it to the resources of the flute itself. He obtained a unique and extraordinary result as we can note in these three wonderful Sonatas op 12 thanks also to Francesca Paganini and Stefano ;alferrari strong and vital performances two rare and real specialist in Druet transcriptions.
