The follow-up to 2002's Scarlet's Walk, the fiery earth-sprite has fashioned another high minded concept album, tying her 19 songs into a garden motif that is part Alice In Wonderland, and part autobiographical journey. This is an overgrown labyrinth of the subconscious as her protagonist experiences a series of life altering events and emotions.
The Beekeeper sees the return of the quirky singer to the familiar, whimsical terrain ofher 1992 smash Little Earthquakes, but with stronger and more tangible storylines and a much more assured and nuanced voice.
The matching folio to the album arranged for Piano, Voice and Guitar Chords.

I heard Tori edited this herself, and I can tell... it's FAR better than previous songbooks -- I haven't seen any wrong notes yet. Barons of Suburbia is VERY hard but the rest are relatively simple ... as expected from 'popular' music.

tori amos is alive and on fire this time around. the beekeeper offers songs like "parasol" and "barons of suburbia" and my favorite the title track, in which she shows her more dark side. tori amos even brings humor with "hoochie woman" in my optinion was a very gutsy track...

, now i don't know if she's talking about her baby's daddy or an ex boyfriend but its something 've never heard from her before. this album is just the best
