I found this rather disappointing. The melody(top line) was well written but the lower harmony line was not in a good range for a C instrument as there were too many low notes, particularly Low C. It played better on an Alto reading an Octave up or even on...

a Bass Recorder. Hard to rate as although the notes were easy some rhythms were quite complex.

Beatles Favorites for the recorder is indeed a good collection of the most famous Beatles music. You can play solo or duet with another recoder, and chords are printed that would a allow a piano or guitar to accompany. In one song you have a D.S. al coda, but...

actually it should be D.C. al coda, because no S is listed and if you know the song you will know to go back to the beginning. Other than that no other mistakes, the print is clear and easy to read. This book is a bit more challenging, more of a level three or four (intermediate levels), but enjoying the world's favorite Pop group while enhancing your recorder skills proves fun and rewarding.
