This new release features violin and cello concertos by British composers. The first disc features Arthur Benjamin's Violin Concerto as broadcast on the BBC in September of 1961, and E J Moeran's Violin Concerto as broadcast on the BBC in October of 1959. The works feature solo violinists Derek Collier and Alfredo Campoli, respectively. Disc 2 contains Arnold Bax's Violin Concerto, and William Walton's Cello Concerto, both broadcast on the BBC in February of 1957.
