do, then you don't need it. The book essentially tells you "doing this is good" or "doing this is unacceptable" for a number of arbitrary scenarios, and doesn't even attempt to tie concepts together. Mosrtly, it contains simple exercises where you must analyze popular classical music. TO BE AVOIDED.
