This is a book of 32 graded pieces for soprano recorder and piano. There is an accompanying CD of the pieces, well-played, on soprano recorder and harpsichord. The difficulty level progresses, I would say, from low intermediate to high intermediate. The selection is excellent, free of over-familiar pieces...

, and covers the entire era of baroque music. The editorial comments and advice about each piece are truly helpful. The music itself is carefully and properly edited. Highly recommended.
