As a piano teacher I usually recommend Alfred Editions for Bach because students benefit from the written out ornaments and extensive fingerings. This is a great help for students. But this copy of the Italian Concerto has very faded out written ornaments. One has a hard time reading clearly because...

the ink print is poorly published. The good thing is that it does not cost much for the book and you can get a CD with it. Again, the recording is not very good performance. The performance is not stylistic to Bach. I would not have a student try to study this pianistic interpretation at all.
