Teresa Cobarrubia Yoder’s easy piano duet arrangement of Franz Schubert’s Ave Maria provides intermediate piano students the opportunity to play, pray, and enjoy well crafted sacred music for recitals, prayer services and church/school liturgies.   

The exquisite melody is beautifully featured in both the primo and secondo parts.  

*Note that the primo may have a duple while the secondo has a triplet (or visa-versa) - as composed by Schubert.

Teresa’s collection of duets were originally composed for her two grand daughters.

Meter:  Simple Quadruple (4/4)

Rhythm: Whole, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth and triplets

Harmony:  Blocked and broken chords

Dynamics: Varied, crescendo and diminuendo

Hand position changes:  yes

Use:  Marian feasts, weddings, funerals, etc.
