Absolutly the piece I wanted both for the piano and voice. This has English, German and Latin. Beautiful.

A stunning piece of work which may take time and practice to master. As a solo player I don't believe this piece can truly 'come alive' alone on the piano as I believe it needs both vocal and piano combined for this piece to work effectively.Highly recommended.

  • November 26, 2007 A wonderful arrangement

This is an anazing arrangement. There is nothing in this piece that isn't gorgeous. It is a harder song to learn than others, but when it is sung right, it can be overpowering. It has three languages; Latin, English, and German. I've been only reading through it and...

trying to study the history of it to try to get an understanding of why this piece was originally written.

  • August 31, 2007 Beautiful

This version of the song is as beautiful than anything I have ever heard. If you can find someone who can sing this right (in Latin), it just makes it that much better. One of the best pieces of Catholic music there is.

  • August 30, 2007 Legatos and phrasings!

I'm still working on my legatos and phrasing, and it will be awhile before I could do justice to this immortal piece. But I'm sure it will worth the effort. This version is written for an alto voice, which makes it more accessible to many (secretly and non...

-too-secretly) aspiring singers. A must to have in one's repertoire.
