After listening to piece, I recognized the level of skill and knowledge supporting it. The piece also adhered to form, which works like grammar and spelling does to writing, in order to communicate to others. That is why I contacted Mr. Glick for my own pieces (see Janet S. Harris...

on this website). He was able to express my concerns into the language of music, resulting into what you now hear. I am not alone in my opinion. Recently I contacted a retired Miami teacher, a lifelong buddy of my late father (since the late 1930s) who has been playing music longer than most people have been alive (he is 92 years old). He will not settle for anything substandard and will tell you what he thinks, no matter what. He heard my piece, Summer Tune, in all its versions, and was very pleased, especially the piano solo, and Summer Tune was arranged by Mr. Glick. So you do the math.

What I like about this piece is that it sounds harder than it really is. It has that nice ragtime feel without getting overly complicated.
