    Difficulty Level:
  • 2005-08-22 00:00:00.0 Beautiful piece. Long lead-time.

This is a beautiful duet by Schutz about how the women wept in Ramah for their children who were no more. It is the cited prophetic scripture that was fulfilled when Herod killed the children when he was trying to get rid of the Messiah. It is seven part, either...

for two voice and 5 instrumental or 7 voices a cappella. It is written in original pitch so the notes are written much higher than it should actually be performed. It is in German but includes the English translation underneath the German. The only negative to this order is that the lead-time is 4-6 weeks (it really is). It does eventually come. It just takes a while.
