It is lyrical and not too demanding to sight-read. It will go well at a church service ponce we in the UK are clear of 'lockdown'.

Lovely piece of music. It's got that special something. I rate it an intermediate level because of the few extra challenges for the players with smaller hands.

Aria on a Chaconne is a beautiful organ solo. Though not difficult, it takes some planning for the fingering. It needs to sound smoothly effortless so that its haunting melody and lush harmonies can touch the listener.

I first heard this lovely piece in a You Tube clip and decided it would make a good voluntary for Holy Communion. It's straightforward, effective and not too demanding technically apart from a couple of big right hand stretches. I read that Joel Martinson likes his players to stick...

to his metronome markings but in this case I think it makes the piece just a fraction too slow.
