    Terrible sheet music. Many tangos are actually written out for violin and bandoneon with piano accompaniment. To play these pieces, then, you have to be VERY advanced and be able to work out the instrumental parts and fit them into the piano part. The pieces themselves are not much fun...

    This book contains reprints of all the traditional Argentine tango sheets. No fluff or filler here. Words are listed apart from the music, which makes all the music playable without page turns. One caveat: it contains no Carlos Gardel or Astor Piazzolla, the pop stars of tango. But that probably...

    makes it affordable for copyright reasons, and you can find other collections of those two greats.

    it's difficult in France to find good tango music for piano solo.Violin and piano are also useful for entertainment music,to play with friends'by classical instrumentists.
