    Apollo is one of I.S.'s great works, though not his most popular. I sprung for this after hearing a recording of Emil Gilels playing the Pas de deux of Apollo and Terpsichore. This makes for an off-beat but charming piano solo, within the reach of us intermediates...

    One of Stravinsky's proudest accomplishments and one of my personal favorites, reduced for piano solo by the composer himself. Presumably less well-known because it is a reduction and not an arrangement like Petrushka. Nonetheless the music is divine and a skilled pianist can create beautiful music with the...

    score. There are significant technical challenges and many 10 note stretches. I can imagine it will be quite difficult for smaller hands to play well.
